when i recived the product i was excited to give my 80's univega a more modern look. these bars look good! dont get me wrong. i think the main downfall is that they seem to sorta flex/bend, as in they aren't very studry. also when i was putting them on, i have an old school stem (C shape and uses one bolt to close it around the bars like a fist.) which means i had to slide the bars through that little hole, but since the bars have kinks I was sure it would not fit. but i was able to grab a screwdriver and wedge it open more, but I did end up scratching the bars pretty badly...they are comfortable!!! love the hand kinks

Bought these to update an old road bike. Ordered these because of the price and because I needed 25.4 clamp size. After a full season of use, I can say they are a good value and comfortable.

Great that these are still stocked, as they help keep those glorious older bikes on the road. I needed a 25.4mm clamp/44 cm width bar for my dear-old LeTour and this is the perfect solution. I'd rather it not have cable grooves (I kept the non-aero brake hoods and quill stem shifters for the cool "classic" look), but thats a minor compromise to finding a bar that fits older bikes. Nice that they come in silver or black, too.
