These are my first carbon bar, seriously doubt I will ever use aluminum again. You should go carbon if not for weight savings for vibration isolation...Your hands, elbows and shoulders will thank you.

Purchased this bar to replace the stock 680mm aluminum bar on my 2012 Specialized Epic. Wanted to try a little wider bar to go with a shorter stem and found this on sale at a really good price with the caveat being it was kermit green and my bike is red and white.
Jumped on it anyway and I've been very impressed. It gave me the perfect amount of width I needed where I'm not hanging my pinkies off the edge of the grips anymore when climbing. It's definitely taking a little getting used to and seems to have slowed the steering down slightly which is not necessarily a bad thing.
I do notice less vibration and chatter coming through these bars. However, I did put carbon wheels and new grips on at the same time, so not sure how much can actually be attributed to the bars alone. Very happy with them though.

Awesome. For me, perfect position on my Med Orbea Alma 29er with 100mm stem. and I'm 5' 11". This replaced a 660mm Flat 5deg bar and the difference is incredible. More comfort, more confidence, climbing feels easier. Can't find a thing to complain about. great price on sale.

Bought these to widen out from a 680 carbon bar by another manufacturer. Was really surprised at how much better the ride quality of these bars are. Was afraid that I was going to have to give up on riding rigid and get a suspension fork, but pair these bars with a carbon fork and fat front tire set at low PSI and don't worry about it.
