Comments about Hayes Adapter For 8" Rotors:
Bought 6" PM front To 8" rotor and it worked great with:
- Fox 831 fork with 15mm thru axle
- Hayes Stoker Ryde
- Hayes 8" rotor
Adapter must be 100% tightened down before putting brake on (limits adjustablity side to side)

It works great, but they could have designed it a little lighter. Overall I like it. It does the job.
Comments about Hayes Adapter For 8" Rotors:
This rotor is amazing. It lasts a lifetime, looks awesome on the bike, cheap price but definitely worth it, I would spend $60 on this rotor any day.
Comments about Hayes Adapter For 8" Rotors:
I have 8in. rotors with this adapter on my Fox Float. I am using azonic wheels, and at first every time I would squeeze the brakes my quick release would loosen up, no mater how tight it was put on. I changed the azonic skewers to salsa skewers and have been dirtjumping and doing endos and have not had a single problem with them since. I do take the wheel off every ride and check it though. BTW I am running Hayes El Camino's which aren't the most powerful brakes out there, so use caution when using 8in. rotors on QR axles.
Comments about Hayes Adapter For 8" Rotors:
i have use the 8 inch rotors for about a month on my new freeride marin rock springs build up and it has a fox vanilla 130 with eight inch rotors and qr on the front and iv had no problems with it at all it works perfectly.
Comments about Hayes Adapter For 8" Rotors:
In response to question below; they are concerned with the wheel comming off from the extreme forces of biking. Thats what the manufactures are saying but they are just saving their hides. I havent heard of anyone getting hurt from using a QR and 8" disks, nor have I, but there is a chance of failure. The only force I can think of that could do it is locking up your brakes after a jump and landing on them, but that would be dumb in the first place.
