For a this kind of lid, it keeps my head reasonably cool. It fit my head perfectly according to my measurements. Can't beat the price. Never owned any other dj/skate style helmet but I don't see any reason to.

I bought this helmet as an inexpensive interim replacement for a busted MTB helmet and am very pleased with it overall. For the dual-use, ballistic-like style, it is RELATIVELY lightweight and well-ventilated (compared to an expensive road or MTB helmet, on the other hand, it stinks in both of these categories), but it can still get pretty hot under there. Otherwise, it's comfortable and feels solid enough to inspire confidence when repelling from a Blackhawk to engage terrorists. Or maybe even when mountain biking.
If you wear this around town, don't be surprised when people ask you about your skateboard, though.
It was true to size for me and fits comfortably, but the circumference is fixed and the fit can only be adjusted with padding, and that can only achieve so much - that's why they make it in more sizes than most other helmets, yo. When ordering online measure twice and cut once, if you know what I mean.

I've been riding with this helmet for several weeks now, and absolutely love it. It's not too warm like some similar 'crash' helmets can be. The protection seems better than my old mountain biking helmet, and it's lightweight. VERY comfortable. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone, especially for the low price. Looks great, too!

This is a light helmet, very comfortable to wear for long rides. The longer chin strap is appreciated. Have been wearing Protec products for 30 years and hopefully another 30 to go. Though not a ferrari of helmets, its SUV design gets the job done.
