The clamp looks very good but there are two downsides. First, it seems to slip after any bumpy terrain no matter how tight I make it. It is also a bit heavier than other bolted seatclamps. I expected better for the price and from hope.

i have one on my ss commuter that gets bashed around more than my xc bike does, seatpost has never slipped. Make sure you do your math on sizes,the only way i can see there being trouble. Nice little product,about to order one for the xc bike.

Be careful if you buy one of these. I broke 3 of the clamping bolts trying to get my seat tight enough, and my seatpost still moved in the seat tube. Luckily hope is good with their warranty.
