DT Swiss 180 Carbon Ceramic hubs feature a carbon shell and high end ceramic bearings to keep you rolling fast.
DT Swiss uses only the highest grade ceramic bearings and the DT Swiss 180’s are no exception. The ceramic cartridge bearings have ceramic ball bearings and stainless steel races that are sealed from contamination. Ceramic bearings are harder and have a lower rolling resistance then standard bearings while also being lighter and stiffer. If light weight is your desire, at a claimed 190 grams for a rear hub, these are as light as they come. DT Swiss also believes in a “no tool concept” that means that normal maintenance can be accomplished without any special tools.
