Ibis 742 I9 Carbon 27.5" Wheelset

Here you go. The Ibis 745 Carbon 27.5" Wheelset has a 35mm inner width, rolls on I9 Torch hubs, and has that lower profile netting a 30 percent increase in impact strength yet 7.5 percent reduction in weight. Really, what more do you need here? How about a hybrid carbon fiber layup, which is simply better, and an asymmetric rim design that features 5mm of offset allowing for a higher spoke tension that is nearly equal from one side of the wheel to the other. Which is what you want. And this wheelset is keen on the ultra-low pressures (10-18 psi) that we all like to run with 2.8 Plus tires (or 18-25psi for 2.25" - 2.5" tires). So you get the strong, wide, light wheels you want, with the monstrous traction. And there's the I9 Torch hubs, with the 60t ratchet and 3ยบ engagement.
