First spotted at Eurobike, the Hard Eddie has been highly anticipated. Immediately your eyes are drawn to the beautiful tubing. Swooping lines in conjunction with a beautiful flat color draws everyone’s attention. Built using the same carbon fiber technology as the Carbine and Carbine SL, the Hard Eddie was designed by Jeff Steber and engineered by SEED Engineering. Together they worked to create a frame that was light and responsive. The Hard Eddie is super light, weighing in at 2lb 7ounces and gracefully makes its way through the hills.
This cross country racing machine was designed for those that love the stable feeling a 29’er provides. To ensure that this bike keeps up with the times, Intense outfitted the Hard Eddie with G1 dropouts. The tapered headtube keeps the front end stiff, as you are powering up the hills. Internal cable routing shields cables from dirt and grime.
