I have been quite happy with this jacket. I wear it every day the temperature is 35-60 and am fine with just a long underwear shirt underneath. It has a really good balance of wind resistance and ventilation; the vented arm pits are great. I was just hoping it would be more waterproof. It does great in light rain but it does not hold up to constant showers.
The fit is perfect. I am 6'2" 170 lbs and the large works great. Its long in the back too which I really like.

I was a bit nervous about the size, I 5'9'' 165 and the size chart states a medium and it was spot on. No restrictions in movement and could probably get a base layer and mid layer on but might be a bit snug. Did a product test under these conditions; start time 7:00am; start temperature was 50 degrees, start elevation 8500 feet. Did a 45 mile out and back to Kenosha Pass CO at 10,000 feet and I could not be happier with this jacket. I had a light summer riding jersey on under the jacket, I stayed warm on the descent and it vents well and no overheating on the climbs. This might be the best cycling specific clothing I have purchased in a long time.

As with all Pearl Izumi sizing, if you're in between medium and large sizing, go with the large size.. Handy buy for the winter as well..
