The Sprint Jacket is to serve as a shield between you and the rain. The Sprint was designed as an everyday rain jacket, but stands up to the storm. Since water often enters through the cuffs of a jacket, Mavic paid special attention to it. They developed Ergo cuffs. Ergo cuffs are ergonomically designed cuffs that limit air leaks.

This jacket isn't made for rigorous winters, or to strong rainning days,but don't have another it gonna work very well.
I used to wear in the the winter, the winter in Brazil is not hard, so this jacket is perfect, I love the disposal of pockets, but the rear pockets make me "lose" somethings, because isn't easy to catch the things inside there when you're cycling.

This is a well built jacket, like most of the Mavic line. THe velcro closures on teh wrist help for a specific fit, and the fabric truly does offer a decent amount of breathability considering how well it shields you from the rain. I use for commuting, as well as training in heavy rain. It's a fairly lightweight package, and truly is a reliable rain jacket. More breathability comes with less water resistance, so no complaints about this product. Mavic fit can be a bit strange. I would like to see a bit more length in the jacket and less in the arms, but maybe that's specific to me. And order up a size.
