One curious problem with wear. I regularly check the chain with a Spin Doctor wear indicator and the chain has looked fine for some time. Suddenly there was more than
.75% wear. I realized that this only was true if measuring across the "missing link". Thinking the link had worn I replaced it with a new "missing link". Same result. Replaced chain and link- okay. Wear apparently occurs at links attached to "missing link" giving a chain "stretched" only in that region. Sorry - don't know mileage. Depending on chain checker. Always measure across region with "missing link".

Comments about KMC DX10SC / X10.93 10 Speed Chain:
I used this chain before and then I "upgraded" to the KMC X10SL chain. Both have improved my shifting on my SRAM drivetrain. But unfortunately the X10SL chain broke on me during a light post to light post sprint. Only had 2,010mi on it.Went back to this chain and is still taking all the punishment. I have to say that this is the only chain Im going to use from now on!

Comments about KMC DX10SC / X10.93 10 Speed Chain:
I mostly purchase KMC chains. They always work and are usually less expensive than Shimano chains.

Great chain, great price, available. Jenson's webiste is excellent, ... and the fact that they have the material for which we search, ... fantastic.

Awesome chain, its shifts great and the price is hard to beat. The missing link is really easy to use and it works great with the Ultegra drivetrain on my bike.
Comments about KMC DX10SC / X10.93 10 Speed Chain:
Ease of installation is incredible and the ability to pull the links in opposite direction to lock in the pin is very easy to use (in comparison to SRAM's PG-1050). This chain is the first 10sp chain that I bought and I have zero issues recommending their products to anyone. They make some very, very good chains and they sell them without paying for marketing like Shimano or SRAM for example. Some shifts happen soft, FAST and effortless but every now and then the setup (SETUP is key, probably not the chains fault) coughs up a little. The chain always responds once my setup aligns to execute a shift. The chain has never delayed a 2-shift move to the bigger cogs. I shift under full load rarely but when I do things line up and work with minimal abruptness. Up steep hills I can power on the load and shift without effort.I'm hoping to try their top of the line DLC coated chain within the next year (when the DX10SC stretches...if ever). Also, I have approximately 1400km on the chain right now, with the last 400km being some very good riding (not just flats, real climbs and such).
Comments about KMC DX10SC / X10.93 10 Speed Chain:
It was unclear whether this chain came with the "missing link" or not, but I was happy to find that it did! This made install super easy, though I still needed my chain tool to remove a link. Out of the box, it was nice and sticky, meaning it was fresh, and wasn't sitting around on a shelf for years.
Comments about KMC DX10SC / X10.93 10 Speed Chain:
I have over 2500 miles on this chain and it is still going strong. I have no complaints about the performance. It shifts well with my Shimano Dura Ace 7800 front and rear setup. I use with the KMC missing link. I clean and lube this chain monthly.
Comments about KMC DX10SC / X10.93 10 Speed Chain:
Excellent chain no problems to date I am about to change it out for a new one as I have competed over 3000miles on this one.
