The Durgana Kali helmet has many things to offer. It is a very light helmet compared to other helmets in its class. However, its real claim to fame has to be its 14-vent integrated airflow system, possibly the most comprehensive venting in a full-face mountain bike helmet currently available Kali molds the EPS inside the shell, using a proprietary technique. This increases protection by filing in the gaps normally found where manufacturers have to insert the shell after molding and glue them in. The helmet is padded very well for a GREAT fit and the pads are removable for cleaning. The chin strap has an extension of the soft padding inside the helmet for comfort. And if that still isn't good enough it comes in many color options that looks great! And to keep it looking great they use a finish that aids in scratch resistance.
Weaknesses: Kali's website could be a little more user friendly and provide more details on the product. But there customer service is awesome.
Bottom Line:
At under 1090 grams for the Large, and the awesome fit of the helmet you wont even know it is there. Hot or cold the helmet keeps you comfortable and SAFE! The price tag $100-150 is outstanding you wont find a helmet that will offer everything it has for the price. It is great for the DH biker to the kid that wants to go to a bike park. Used this helmet for over a year now, and have had several wicked wrecks that with out it I would be looking at thousands of dollars in dental work. And to top it off it has not broke, cracked or shown very little sign of damage it still looks great!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I love this helmet! Before I got it I was using a motocross lid. When I put this on I was instantly sold! It's super light and REALLY REALLY comfy. The only thing is that at first it seemed to be a bit big fitting but after I wore it a little iis like it filled in and molded to my head! Overall it's a super good helmet and the venting is amazing! Get this and as long as it fits you will be happy! Just try it on at ur LBS and then get it from jenson. The price is also amazing!

If you're looking for a ultralight full-face helmet, I don't think you'll find anything lighter than the Durgana. Kali's a new company, but if the keep making helmets like this, the bigger manufacturers will be playing catch-up pretty quick.
