These Kenda tires were great for use on simple 7 speed mountain bikes out in the Arizona desert. I put them on some bikes for a charity organization. They seem to be very durable and were easy to seat without any problems.

Comments about Kenda K831 Alfabite Tire 26X1.75:

I've used this tire for 22 months riding in all types of urban road conditions, including riding through broken glass, and never had a flat. Furthermore, the tread rolls fast, and provides excellent road grip in all conditions. This tire has saved me from potentially bad crashes when it gripped the road and stopped a tire slip. This purchase was to replace the worn front tire; no reason to change the tire model!

Comments about Kenda K831 Alfabite Tire 26X1.75:

This is my 2nd Kenda K831 Alfabite tire; the first one is still on my front wheel after about 2 years, and still going strong. My urban riding includes riding thru glass and thorns, and I've never had a flat. What I like best is the tread is fast-rolling yet has grip and that grip has saved me from a crash on rough, busy urban streets. Note that the tire is not manufactured as a puncture-resistent tire; the raised tread design, however, enables riding thru glass and thorns without a puncture in 2 years, and still sheds water easily. Love this tire!

Comments about Kenda K831 Alfabite Tire 26X1.75:

Great replacement tire for basic bikes. It has a center tread to roll faster on pavement, yet it still have plenty of traction when you go offroad. Obviously not a true mountain biking tire so don't expect to rail a downhill dirt corner at speed on these, Kenda makes plenty of other great tires for that.

Because of illness, I haven't had a chance to mount the tires yet. They did arrive in a very timely manner and appear to be very nice tires.
