great long lasting tires with superb traction. have used these for a couple years with a few hundred miles on them. 90% rides are on trails and 10% on roads.

Best tires I've run so far. Used for everything and they are great. I've used maxxis minions, michelins, stouts, kenda kinnetics and Nevegals trump them all. I ride these tires everywhere doing everything with confidence.

Set these up on Mavic 317 rims with tape and tubeless valve stems. Popped right up with a blast from the compressor, and didn't require sealant to seal up the tire. Was still losing some air around the bead and valve stem, so running sealant to tighten up those leaks- everything seems to be working great at 38psi (I'm a big guy) any lower and the rear tends to burp on square-edge bumps.
2.35" size added volume over the 2.1" nevegals that came on the bike, improved ride and traction. Great upgrade!

I love the way these tire ride, when I saw they are finally making a sealant compatible model I was excited. BUT this tires weights are FALSE ADVERTISING. Jenson and Kenda both describe this tires 2.1 version as 635 Grams +- 32. When the tire arrives up it says right on the package that the weight is 753 +-38. WHAT THE HECK?!?! Already that's 1/4lbs. more than advertised. Then I actually weight the tire because I don't trust them anymore and the 2.1 DCT SCT weights in at 802 grams on a calibrated scale!!!!!!! THIS IS NOT A UST TIRE! WHY IS IT SOOOO HEAVY, WHAT GIVES?!?!?? THATS a 1/3lbs. over weight on a 2.1. Oddly enough I ordered a 2.3 at the same time and it was 825 grams like the package said it would be. The 2.3 is advertised at 836 grams but the actual packaging says 827 grams. How does a 2.1 of the same design weight very nearly the same weight as a 2.3?!?!?!?

No cons now that you can run sealant. Tried a Hans Demph, did not hold a line like the Nevagal and costs more than twice as much.
