If you are looking for the best seatpost on the market this is it. The flip-side of that is that it has one of the heaviest prices as well, although there are a few more expensive posts out there.

At 460 grams this is currently the lightest dropper post as far as I've been able to find. KindShock has also been at the forefront of the static cable setup with the cable terminating at the collar, and at the bottom of the post with the Lev Integra. While this is not a make-or-break feature it makes setup and cable maintenance easier, cleaner, and less prone to mechanical issues or snags. One can also orient the termination point of the cable at the post 360 degrees to best accommodate each frame.

The remote lever is one of the most inconspicuous, and comfortable levers I've used on a post. Further, the remote lever can take the place of many lock-on clamps on the inside position of your grips to minimize bar real estate usage. The lever can be positioned in multiple orientations on your bar to find the one that best suits your needs. I've found that a slightly straightened 90 degree brake noodle coming from the remote to the first portion of cable organizes the routing beautifully with your brake/shifter lines, and gives a solid point for your inline barrel adjuster to mount to making cable tension adjustment very simple and quick. I paint my brake noodle black to match.

Wiggle in the head of the post is minimal, and not noticeable while riding. The lever actuation is light and quick, with the post responding with precise disengagement/engagement, and responsive rebound and compression. Also, the infinite adjustment allows the rider to determine what the best position of the post is instead of being predetermined by some engineer who is not riding the bike.

Maintenance care has been minimal only keeping the post and seals clean between rides, and durability has been great for both posts that I've owned. The 125mm length seems to be the most fitted length for the average sized riders, while 100mm tends toward XC and smaller riders, and 150mm to taller riders. Remember to account for downtube shape when deciding on the longer lengths. Also, this is one of the few good posts that accommodate 27.2mm seat tubes.

Finally, the Lev is good looking. While this is not the most important, it does add to the aesthetics of these machines that we spend a lot of hard earned cash on, and I, for one, like my bikes to look as good as they perform.

The only seat post adjuster that will provide a usable 4 inch drop for someone with an inseam of 29 inches on a mens medium frame. I had a gravity dropper which I thought was the best ever, but I could only use 3 inches of a drop before my feet left the pedals.

The LEV is the smoothest action.
