It is a little heavy but it is understandable due to the durable material and features of the bag. I'm a student and it works well to put all of my school boks and such in. The attachment for attaching it your bike is very handy as well if you do not feel like toting it on your back. A great purchase

Great all around bag. Pannier attachment is smooth, strong and nice on the bike, but leaves me wondering if it will pull apart the stitching at the far corners. I like removing the strap for some uses.

This is way better than I expected. So far it works great. Really like the quality of the materials and the entire product buckles are very heavy duty and everything is very intelligently put together. Shoulder strap is very thick and comfortable This will last a very long time. Has a built in rain fly and laptop sleeve. The laptop sleeve is not removable. Colors are sharp. I like the ability to turn it into a backpack with the attachment i got free through Jenson. There are not a lot of directions included but everything was fairly easy to figure out. Pannier attachment was included with my bags and is easy to swap in and out and works great. The backpack is a lot more difficult to put on. You must remove the neoprene around the attachment point before you attach it to the bag and then pop it back over the plastic. This was not easy to figure out w/o directions.

I got this bag because I was tired of carrying a backpack and sweating so much. I love that it is versatile: handlebar OR shoulder/messenger OR pannier, and especially that it fits a laptop. It is easy to switch from use to use. Great price!
However, it is long and hangs low - so it rubs against the front brake and/or tire. I found it needs a strap and loop on the top so that it can be attached to the handlebar arm or frame of the bike to pull it back, so it won't rub on the brake/tire. I'm going to have to make this happen myself since that is not part of the design, but I think it will work. So if I could change one thing it would be to include a loop on the top and/or built in straps with buckle to pull it back from the top so it doesn't hang too low.
