If you are looking for pads that let everyone know you are behind them on a downhill, these are the pads for you! They started screaming almost immediately on my first decent and haven't stopped. Usually I want my pads to last, can't wait for these to wear out so I can go back to Shimano.

Bought the Juicy 7 model. Pretty easy to install and works well. No chance to test long-term yet, but I would expect the same high quality found in other Kool Stop products.

I had bad squeeking problems (like a lot of people) wth Avid Elixirs. These pads solved that problem right away, and my brakes have been nice and quiet since. They have good stopping power (I"m also using 185mm rotors, so that helps too) and seem to be wearing well. Recommended!

Brake pads work awesome! One important note: I sprayed my chain with lube, and some of the lube must have dripped into the brake caliper. The result is that my rear brake works only about 50% as well as it did before spraying it.

I ride XC and installed these on with Saint brakes using Avid rotors. They bedded in quickly, stop very well and are quiet. I use to be THAT guy with the turkey call brakes, but no more!

I purchased these because no amount of adjusting or cleaning could get the Avid pads on my BB7s to stop squealing. These offer the same amount of stopping power and similar feel with little to no noise. They make a little noise when wet but it subsides faster than with the stock pads. Can't comment on pad life at this point.
