I bought this for my Mom so she could lock her bike up at the grocery store...I had a model from a decade or so back and it remains durable and problem free.
This lock, however, is a complete pile of malark. Kryptonite quality has become nonexistent. The numbers in the lock mechanism are flimsy and cheap and there is no solid feel to the lock action.
I figure this is okay for intermittent use, but don't buy this lock if you plan on using it often.
