Comments about Lazer Excalibur Helmet:
It's the first full-face cycling helmet I've owned since my BMX days over 25 year ago, so I don't have much of a frame of reference; but I'm impressed with the Excalibur.
The fit it true to the sizing chart and the padding system is comfortable. The ventilation is as good as it can be for a full-face helmet. I sweat a lot, but I don't feel like I'm overheating in it, until I stop moving. It's not very heavy, so I'm not left with a sore neck and shoulders after a 3 hour session at the park.
The two drawbacks I found: The buckle is a bit difficult to work with full-finger gloves. It's a square double ring, so it can be a chore; but once you've got it on it's not going anywhere.
Second, the adhesive holding the foam padding around the mouthguard is pretty weak; just some double sided tacky tape. A hot day at the park and you'll notice some separation. I threw some heavy grade double sided foam tape on there and it's been no problem since.
