Poc Joint VPD Knee Guard 2012

The POC Joint VPD Knee guard offers an amazing level of protection while maintaining a comfortable fit. The sleeve is constructed of a breathable material and also included a detachable calf protector. VPD is a protective material used on the POC Joint VPD Knee Guard that will hold up to multiple impacts and also remain effective in all temperature ranges. VPD's shock absorption is progressive in nature. The harder the impact, the material actually accomodates the impact by transitioning into a harder material. When it is not needed it stays softer and more comfortable without compromising safety and protection. Polygiene anti-odor treatment included. Sizes: S, M & L

Forget They're On When Riding...
So far I've been really digging these pads. Super comfy to wear! I forget that I'm wearing them most of the time. The only complaint I would have is wearing them during the summer months. By the end of a ride I'll end up having to pull them up every now and then. I suppose any knee guard would do that though. Very pleased with this product!

Comfy Knee Pads
Picked these up a while ago to replace some ratty Race Face knee/shins. These are definitely more comfortable to wear on hot days. They slip a little if I pedal a lot (I only wear them on my DH bike), but it's manageable. I suppose any knee only pad is going to slip a bit.

I like the pad better than a hard plastic shell, because they are definitely more comfortable. They are easy to get on and off.

I get shinners every now and then and it would be nice to have a knee/shin, but I feel they are overkill most of the time. These are great 99% of the time. Most of the time I get pedals to the calf and not the shin anyway...
