This is an upgrade on Planet Bike's classic, industry standard blinky. Same body and design with a brighter LED.
I really do like it and am pleased with the brightness. It also feels like they have made the switch a little more durable, but that may be an illusion.
My only concerns are those I've already experienced with the middle tier version of this light. (I simply have not put enough miles on it to discover if those will be problems with this version too.) The less bright version of this light was prone to conking out due to water infiltration in very wet conditions (when you'd need the light most). Also, since the batteries are attached to the lens, it makes the lens overly heavy and prone to pop-off during jarring riding (cobblestones, potholes). Hopefully they've made subtle improvements with this version which will make these concerns irrelevant. In any case, I've found a couple small pieces of invisibile tape are enough to counter-act the popping off problem.
