I guess I would consider it a commute light if I commuted. It throws plenty of light for my hour or two spins along the gravel canal roads on the CX bike. Price is fantastic.

I baught this product to go night riding on my all mountain rig! Light output is really bright reminded me of a bmw hid headlight lol and the ram air works really good to keep it cool as long as your moving.

Living in Northern Alberta the days get short early! Getting home from work at 5:30pm and its already getting dark so it doesn't leave much time to get a ride in if you don't have lights.
We tested many light systems and for the money this light was hard to beat!! We ride lots of single track to train and this light has enabled us to continue to do so at any time of night. The penetration is great and it also gives you great peripheral light as well.
This is a great bang for your buck!
