Once upon a time, a friend told me about ProGold. I bought some and loved it. My chain was quiet and I had reliable shifts. But, it seemed to get everywhere. It would drip from my chain on the floor. I actually had to put something down to catch the oil. Then, when I would try to oil pivots or cables, it would also get everywhere.

But, it was a good lubricant. I commuted to work almost everyday and I didn't need to oil my chain but once a week. So, I put up with the bottle leaking everywhere.

Then, I saw this. Oh my goodness it is as awesome as anything I have ever gotten to use on my bike. It puts a precise drop of oil right where you want it. I get a drop, maybe two, on every link of my chain. And, I have yet to see a drip hit the floor. But, even better, I got to lubricate my jockey wheels and the derailleur pivots and it was so easy that I know it will be a regular part of my maintenance routine.

I wholeheartedly recommend this with all the enthusiasm I can muster for something that puts oil on my bike. It is so good. And, the oil is, like I said, my favorite.

This product excels for lubing to all your small parts. Especially the points and springs on both front and back derallieurs.If you already use progold then you are probably sensitive to dirt pickup and watch how much lube you apply. I use this applicator to additionally apply a single drop/s of lube to of the chain link, each side of the pivot points. The low viscosity of the progold means that it will wicks the whole joint. You should still immerse your whole chain in progold initially per the instructions on the bottle but this applicator gives a good top-up.The trick to refill is to use a small prolink bottle. These have a small opening that can maintain a fast jet at low volume. Conversely if you try to drip refill you will get an air bubble in the applicator opening which can be really annoying.

Excellent buy - glad to see Jenson's stocking it. I had to order mine directly from Progold. Great and clean way to lube the chain and cables.Just buy it with a bottle or 2 of Progold and refill it straight from the bottle.
