    Very comfortable shoe. I tend to like the lower end shoes so that I have so grip incase I need to get off of the bike. These shoes are great so you can clip in or walk in the store.

    Comments about Mavic Alpine Mountain Shoes 2012:

    I ordered 1/2 a size larger than usual after reading that they fittd narrow, fit to me was true to size, 1/2 size larger lets me run thicker socks in winter, as the venting makes for cold toes. Great tread makes hike'a'bike much easier than any others i have tried. The shoe is reasonably narrow through the shank, may be an issue for those with flat feet.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
