I live in Southern California and I like to go on 30+ mile bike rides, and that usually keeps me out for 2+ hours. I needed another layer for the winter months, when wearing a jersey is not enough but wearing a jacket is too much. I purchased both the long and short sleeve versions, and so far I happy with both. They both do what I want, they keep me warm for those slightly colder days and wick away the moisture so I don't feel like I am drenched in sweat.
As one of the previous reviewers stated the sizes run small, I am usually a large but had to get the extra large.

For coldest weather activity, on or off bike, I find this layer very comfortable and well-fitting.

I bought both the long- and short-sleeve versions and like them a lot. Watch out for the sizing though, as what's listed in not US sizing and you'll need to go up a size (e.g. I wear L so ordered XL). Only issue I have is that the neck is really high, which you can see in the photo, so it sticks out above the normal cycling jersey.
