The Stratos H2O jacket is a technical rain proof jacket specifically designed for mountain biking. The highly waterproof and breathable Cocona Xcelerator fabric keeps you comfortable and riding longer, even when the weather doesn’t hold up. With the nifty Pack Bak, you can store your goods so they stay dry. The XL vent is a full length front zippered that allows maximum ventilation, while keeping the jacket in one place.

Comments about Mavic Stratos H2O Jacket:
I bought this to help me get through the winter, commuting to work on a road bike, and also to throw in the camelback when mountain biking. Only had rain a few times, but it kept me very dry head to waist (no rain pants/shoes). I can say it holds out to 19 degrees (windchill) very well with nothing but under armor as a base layer. It is warm and manages air flow in the cold very well. No draft at sleeves, or neck, unless you want it to. You can STOP and adjust the neck vent, armpit zippers, wrist strap, waist bungee and/or hood bungee to help get some airflow inside. I say stop to adjust because I every time I attempted to adjust it on the go, the zipper either didn't move or became jammed. I even ended up with a small tear in the outer vent zipper after it jammed on a climb. And the armpit zippers don't even move on the go. Instead, when I pull the armpit zipper, the hole jacked moves. Maybe this is the price paid for waterproof zippers? maybe they just need to be broken in? Time will tell. Another problem I have is when I wear a balaclava, the neck feels very tight. This is manageable until you get to heavy breathing, then I feel like I need to escape the jacket. A full size backpack does not fit in the extended section on the back. I have not tried a standard size camel back yet. By the way, the 2 regular zippers (front vent and hood) both work great. Finally, although this jacket is very good for the bike position, you may want to think twice before making it do double duty as bike rain coat and daily raincoat, only because off the bike, the tail hangs plenty low, but the front sits high, so a shirt protrudes from the bottom.
