The Ardent DC LUST is part of Maxxis’ eXCeption Series (EXC) that combines a high TPI count and a special compound configuration in a tubeless ready tire. Aggressive side knobs give the Ardent aggressive cornering traction and the ramped center knobs minimize rolling resistance but still has enough traction for quick acceleration and braking. L.U.S.T. (Lightweight Ultimate Sidewall Technology) is a lightweight material covering the casing and then it is wrapped by a lightweight airtight rubber that strengthens the sidewalls and helps air retention without adding excessive weight.
