I started using these tubes about nine years ago in an effort to get fewer flats. I commute to work and back, only about five miles per day. I have been satisfied with these tubes, and think the thickness helps. I only get one or two flats a year, and it's almost always from some jerk throwing a beer bottle on the roadway, or other kinds of glass.

When I installed it I was happy with how thick the tube was and the cool orange valve cap, but then a couple rides later I went to fill the tube and the valve assembly broke. Yeah thats why i hate presta and Im done for good after this tube, but still it broke easily and I wouldn't recommend this tube.

south Texas has lots of cacti and mesquite, so having thick tubes and slime are a must. I've ridden these tubes for about 2.5 yrs and I've only had one flat, and that was from a shard of glass. haven't had a chance to use 'em in downhill conditions 'cause this place is so flat, but I'm pretty sure they'll hold up.

This tube is great, because it is so sturdy. I really like the valves also. It seems they are designed differently. Anlyway I don't have the problems with them I do others. The air up is easier.

Great tube that just won't quit. It is so thick that I can do big drops without having to worry about flats. I have one in both my tires. GREAT TUBE!
