Comments about Michelin Country Mud Tire:
maybe 4.5 stars. it is a good value for an all around tire. they wear better than i thought they would, have good traction in wet AND dry conditions on the dirt. fairly sticky on wet roots. they are very light and somewhat small tires that my boy just couldn't get ok with until he rode them. 'they are fast, Dad.' not a big downhill tire but very nice for trails and everything but the big stuff.
these tires give you audible feedback regarding the traction. it is clear to hear when you are on the edge of skidding. very predictable tires. a Great value for the money.

Comments about Michelin Country Mud Tire:
Bought this tire as a training tire for my mtb. Although it was made for mud I'll be using this tire on pavement and on some dirt trails, but nothing too technical most likely. The tire mounts extremely easily, and looks pretty good too.
Best part about this is the price. Excellent price for a name-brand wire bead tire.
Comments about Michelin Country Mud Tire:
Bitter-sweet should say it all, but Jenson wants 20 words or more for your enjoyment regarding the Country Mud tires.
Comments about Michelin Country Mud Tire:
This tire sticks to anything; you can dive into corners and not worry about the bike flying out from under you. If it does start to slip, it does so predictably and gives you some time to react so you can recover. It rolls easier on the dirt than on the pavement, effortlessly in comparison. Other tires have made wet roots deadly to ride over but these shoes do give you a bit more grip; its still slipery but ridable. Been in thick mud with these tires as well and these tires have made wet clay ridable, when others have been falling left and right. They also have great traction on loose rocks. These are my favorite off road bike tires and I will be getting another set as mine are starting to loose tread blocks after several seasons (at least 300 miles) of mainly dry loose sharp rock usage with escapades into mud and wet dirt conditions.
