My first carbon bar was the Truvativ Noir. Very attractive but not light. It replaced an old but still very able and very light aluminum Scott bar that had integrated bar ends. The Scott is now on an old Trek hard tail. The Noir went to a 1996 Canny CAAD3 hard tail which currently weighs about 21 lbs. My new Spec Epic Evo 29r had the Spec carbon flat bars which I was going to replace with an Easton EC70 bar but in the end opted for the Ritchey WCS bar. This is a fantastic bar and was the lightest bar that Jenson stocked in their display case. (Yes, I weighed them all) Paired with the carbon Ritchey 3K seat post, it just looks crazy good. I did not get the Ritchey WCS Stem. I'm currently using a 75mm 3T ARC Team alloy stem. The alloy Syntace 105 stem is just as light and was my first option. All the carbon stems I researched spec'ed heavier than the higher end alloy stems I liked. I thought that was weird. Even the ti stem I checked was heavier. All in all, very happy with this upgrade.

Only had this for one season and its my first carbon bar. So far I love this bar and it hasn't shown any weaknesses. Crashed a few times and no signs of damage. The glossy finish and the weave of the carbon looks better than any other carbon bar I have seen.
