      Tore after 2.5 months

Comments about Chrome Midway Pro SPD Clipless Shoes:

I loved the shoes until the right shoe tore along the lace holes after 2.5 months of use. I'm not sure if my pair were just lemons or not. As the other reviews indicated, the shoes do run a little large, so adjust your sizing.

Comments about Chrome Midway Pro SPD Clipless Shoes:

I use these shoes for commuting in moderate street/highway traffic with dual platform pedals. The power transfer is excellent and they clip in and out easily once the cleats are adjusted.
My only negative is the heel tab which is not stiff at all and folds easily when putting these on. A heel loop would take care of that. And when I'm at certain stops with one foot unclipped and fully extended downward the heel tag digs into my Achilles causing a lot of temporary discomfort. Maybe its just my foot shape, but d*mn! it stings!

Comments about Chrome Midway Pro SPD Clipless Shoes:

Great shoes. Durable, comfortable and great on the bike. These are more a bike shoe than a sneaker and the sole is stiff as such. Feels great on the bike but stiff when waking.
I'm normally a size 12 us in shoes, and the 11.5 fit perfectly.
Not great in heavy rain, but that wasn't expected.

Comments about Chrome Midway Pro SPD Clipless Shoes:

Great shoes for riding to work, and wearing at work if you have carpet floors. They don't look like cycling shoes at all, tough they still deliver a lot of power due to their stiffness and ankle support.
Maybe a little awkward to walk with, specially on hard surfaces, as the cleats stick out about 1 mm (I use Time Atacs, don't really know if the same happen to other brands). I think this can be solved, tough, moving the cleat to the rearest position, but haven't tried it yet as it would change my riding stance. Another solution would be to sand the cleats, jeopardizing their strength: don't do it if you apply great upper forces (jumping, etc).
Size: I'm always a 10.5 in sport shoes, and based in other opinions from this site I ordered a size 10. They fit perfectly.
Overall, excellent shoes if you don't walk too much or have carpet floors, great for work for its looks, order half a size less.

Stiffer than you would would expect from a shoe of this type. They deliver more power than you'd expect. They are pretty much like chucks in the looks dept.

Comments about Chrome Midway Pro SPD Clipless Shoes:

I can wear this shoe when cycling to work, and then wear the same shoes at work. Two shoes for the price of one! On the bike these shoes are great, I am really able to put down power across a much larger percentage of the revolution, especially on the upstroke.

Off the bike, I find that these shoes are more comfortable to wear untied, but then I am used to loose fitting shoes. Great on soft surfaces such as carpets, not so great on hard surfaces as the cleat sticks out. Walking outside feels a bit precarious. Sometimes I will step on a bit of sand or grit and hear it crush under the cleat - not sure how good this is on the cleat. If I walk on the back of my foot this is reduced, since the cleat doesn't touch until my foot rolls forward onto the front part of the shoes, but it is difficult to walk this way.

Overall, I am happy wearing this shoe when I cycle places, but on days I don't cycle it stays at home, due to the sub-optimal handling on hard surfaces and outdoors.

Comments about Chrome Midway Pro SPD Clipless Shoes:

Shoes are good looking and are good for work, where I can't wear biking shoes. Problem is that the cleats scrape on the ground when I walk, so they still make a clicking sound and it seems that they are rubbing out a bit...
