I like to ride I guess you would call XC/freeride and I don't like Full Suspension bike for a few reasons and when there are hardtails like this one why would you. Normally when you get on a New bike it takes a while to get used to it but with this it was instant love . This frame has everything a XC rider would ever need for a fraction of the price . It's simple well made looks great if only a little dull. I am 5'11 and have a 16.5 in . In the beginning it did feel a little small but if I did go for the 18.5 in it would of been too big . This is the bike for you if you love riding eveything and everywhere
I've used it for less than a month but i can already say it maybe the best frame i've tryed, for such a light frame it is still hard to get that omg this bikes about to break feeling ... words i read on an mtbr.com reviewVery light, I went directly to weight it and it does accomplish 2.7 pounds for the 16.5" frame. It sure is very solid, at the begining i thought it was gonna be a little too light to try some jumps or some kind of agressive riding, but as I began using it i just got this wonderful feeling that you're not gonna damage anything. Takes corners nicely and gives you great confidence on the track, nice geometry.
I've been using this frame on a regular basis for over six months and so far no complaints. The frame is as strong as it is light and is an excellent buy if you are looking for a quality frame that you wouldn't feel guilty about running into the ground. I've had two huge crashes on this frame and in both scenarios the bike has held up beautifully as if nothing happened. You can definitely feel the weight difference in this frame, with a whopping 3 pounds, this bike can scale most steep grades without much trouble at all. The weight makes long distance rides easier by feeling like your gliding on the bike rather than pushing it. Great buy if you're into endurance rides and climbs.
