Thanks to clutch rear derailleurs, 1x setups are becoming increasingly popular with all types of mountain bikes. This new offering from North Shore Billet follows suit with a unique variable-width tooth profile, acting as a built in chainguide for your 1x drivetrain. By providing more direct contact to the chain, the new wider profile also increases the life if your chainrings. These particular rings are made specifically for Shimano XTR Race M985 cranksets that use a 88 BCD. Designed, tested and manufactured in Whistler, BC from aerospace quality 7075 T6 aluminum this chainring is strong enough for DH or FR use yet light enough for XC or Enduro racing.
