These work well for what they do. They don't provide any lasting kind of energy, but will give you a quick burst to keep going. They have a texture similar to a very dense gummy bear, and the flavors aren't bad. Individually, each block is something like 45 calories, so you'll need to have more than one to keep going. Try a pack out before you commit to a whole box, though.
