Lighter weight than the stock handlebar on my Revel 1 29er. Have not used the extensions, but the extra width has definitely felt like better handling.

Awesome bar and width for trail/all-mountain, plus the ability to adjust the width with their wingtips is an awesome idea. The weight is good, especially since I cannot detect any flex and the finish is strong and will hold up for a long time.

Just wanted to share an experience I just had with these bars. I was downhilling last weekend and I really was shown the strength of these bars. I came up to a boulder drop a bit to slow (but was still moving fairly quick) and I ended up indo-ing really bad. I held on for dear life an ended up not falling as bad as I could have would I have just tried to bail. Upon getting back onto my bike and continuing down the trail I then realized the immense pressure I put onto my bars, I straight up snapped two bolts out of my stem, and still not a thing happened to my bars at all. I was quite surprised that they did not bend even the slightest bit! They are awesome, improved my riding skill a lot, more control in every situation. Best upgrade to my bike!

The length gives the front wheel good accuracy on trials tricks, and gives it a nice feel. i put blue raceface strafe grips on them, the combo of wide bars and thick grips is nice when hitting dirt jumps.
