An urban favorite: the choice of many messengers and urban commuters. Duro Protex improves on the original Duro by adding a Protex breaker to the super tough 3D casing.
  • Protex is a proprietary additive that adheres to the casing and makes tires three times more puncture resistant than other casing reinforcement systems
  • Zero Slip Grip Natural tread compound integrates more natural rubber to decrease rolling resistance and increase tread wear life
  • 400D Lite Extra Cord technology increases side-cut resistance while improving the rigidity during cornering

Comments about Panaracer T-Serv Protex Road Tire:

Relatively lightweight for such a durable tire. 35mm (older version) measures 35mm on a Mavic Open Sport. The 32mm, however, comes out 30mm. Use both on everything from Tarmac to single track (non-technical and not muddy) for long distance cycling. Look good too!

Comments about Panaracer T-Serv Protex Road Tire:

I ride 700x28c and it's a fast-rolling yet comfy ride at 90-100 PSI. Confident turning even when there's debris/gravel on the pavement. The tread has an impressive grip wet and dry and the reflective sidewall (optional) is a great visibility bonus. 28c fits more like a 26c, which would work on most road frame/forks.

Comments about Panaracer T-Serv Protex Road Tire:

If you're looking for a road tire in this size range, look no further. This is a rubber only tire, no studs so expect to slip on ice. Tread carefully in that case.

        Outperformed all expectations.

Comments about Panaracer T-Serv Protex Road Tire:

Great tire, but I wish the guy on the phone would have suggested the 1.75 width for my MTB. I am too big for skinny tires. Also, the roads in my city are really beat up.

Comments about Panaracer T-Serv Protex Road Tire:

Being in amish country, riding through a combination of horse manure, mud, and seasonal rain and snow is common and these tires hold the road very well. I've yet to feel any loss of traction on my fixed gear with these tires equipped. The roads here range from dirt, gravel, and asphault (broken and patched to nicely paved) and these tires stay strong.
