I used to fumble around to remove chains with needle nose pliers and ususally ended up swearing and getting more grey hair. I bought these master link pliers and life is a lot less complicated. I love these things and I will never use a chain again without a masterlink.

They work great. I use Sram powerlinks and KMC missing links and they can be stubborn sometimes. I like to take my chain off often to clean it in an ultrasonic tank. This tool makes taking off sticky links a lot easier.

I love this tool.. it does what is supposed to do so i can move on with my life and by bike tuning. I used to spend 20 mins getting the master link off, now i spend 20 secs. Yes [$] for a tool that does one thing is pricey but a tool that works is priceless

Thought this tool dose what it's suppose to do. And it is a tool thats made for this one application. I found by tieing up the rear derailer and ths slacking the tension on the chain. I can just by, squeezing the master Link in opposing direction the master link just pop's off no problem. But being a tool junkey, I got to have the right tool for this type of application. I have Snap on Tools and I guess for my bikeing application it's going to be PARKs TOOLs in my inventory from now on.
