Pearl Izumi's Race Road Iv Shoes offer a tremendous value with plenty of features for the road cyclist, and they've got the same revolutionary 1:1 Adaptive Fit system as the company's P.R.O. Leader II cycling shoe. The Road Iv sole is a fiber reinforced composite structure with full carbon fiber forefoot to maximize your power to the pedals, and the 3D Seamless Print Upper Technology allows for a low weight with improved durability. Direct-Vent technology improves cooling and helps keep your feet dryer, and the EVA foam and rubber heel bumper provides stability and comfort when off the bike. The bi-directional closure allows a semi-custom fit by gathering equally from both sides for even foot retention, using a precise IP1 micro-adjustable BOA reel. The shoe is compatible with both SPD-SL and SPD pedal systems.
