My entire reason for purchasing these was the idea of being able to ride clipless or clipped in depending on my needs.
Advertised as "gives you the flexibility to be clipped in when you want and the extra support of a big platform when you don't."
This is not the case. Trying to use these without clipping in is uncomfortable and dangerus. The clip mechanism in the middle of the pedal sticks up so much that there it obstructs You ability to get a good grip on the pedal. The only way You can proplery place your foot on these is if You are clipped in.
They are clip pedals only, dont think Your going to be able to ride them any other way.

This is my first step into clipless pedals. I choose these pedals because I thought they would be an easy transition from platforms. I was correct. Never even tried clipless before I was a bit worried but I was able to clip in and out pretty flawlessly. The learning curve was next to nil and I only fell once in my first four rides. So rar I've put in about 100+ miles in single track on these pedels and love them. I am even able to hop on them with my normal shoes for a quick ride when I want. This is a big plus, cause I am likely to leave my shoes behind at some point!

Great pedal, nothing bad to say about it. It works, clears mud well. Reliable engagement. This pedal has higher spring tension than the Acid pedals in there line up which given it's intended use is a good thing. Weight is on point as well. Good value.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
