Have a set of these on my touring bike and absolutely love them. Look as good as they work. I added a set of chrome toe clips and leather straps to complete the package.

These are quality pedals. For some reason I've never seen these in bike shops,but they are the widest pedals available and fit my feet (size 11) the best. They also work great with clips.

This pedal works well with toe clips when I wear shoes with little to no tread, such as Vans slip-on or Adidas Samba. Without toe clips, this pedal works with just about any type of shoe. There is plenty of grip to use this pedal on its own, as many people do. I prefer the toe clip with this pedal as the platform does not feel as big under foot as a bmx pedal. I have bought many pairs of this pedal and have convinced friends to do the same.

Extremely comfortable and stable, even at 110 rpms in running shoes with no clips. My feet keep slipping off the road pedals, but not these. So nice not to have to wear cycling shoes and no difference in speed--but much more comfort. Double-sided pedals are wonderful, and these are the best. Don't hesitate to try them. I use them on Dura Ace cranks--what a contrast! I never would've believed that I could ride this fast with free feet & friction shifters!
