These pedals are quite indestructible. I have been running them for just over a year now on my trail bike. They have been clobbered on rocks and have held up great. The large platform offers great stability. Surprisingly, they don't get overly gunked up with mud either. They are far more reliable than a pair of Crank Bros. pedals I tried. The only downside is how heavy they are, but I can live with that given their great performance.
