I've had these pedals on my bike for approximately 3 years. All I've had to do is tighten the nut when it got loose. I ride an average of 3 times/week for 1.5-2 hours per and have had no problems getting into or out of them. I am only writing this because I am looking to purchase another pair for my other bike and am getting tired of switching out!

Never clog, always sweet spot when clicking in, light wt#. Plenty of surface area..Both pedals after approx. 1000 miles... TOAST!For the price, go with a ritchey or even XTR

These pedals came with the bike I recently purchased. They are easy to clip into, but really scary when you need to clip out in an emergency. The single spring clip saves on weight, but only releases the rear of your cleat. I have already had multiple close calls when I needed to clip out in a hurry and the front of the cleat got stuck in the pedal delaying critical pedal to ground time of your foot. I would not recommend this pedal for technical climbs or descents. Especially not for rides with alot of exposure on the trail (thank goodness for a well placed palo verde)!
