The Profile Racing BMX Race crankset is a great crankset that goes great on any BMX bike, it does not include a Bottom Bracket. For many years this crankset has set the standard for quality. Profile is based in Florida and takes pride in being all american made.
BB Not included
Race cranks have standard arms and standard 3/4" (19mm) BB spindle
I ran two sets of profile cranks on my downhill bikes and never had any issues with performance or durability. These cranks were one of the first solid and bombproof cranks on the market for mountain biking, even Bender was using these back in the day. These are super stiff cranks and can take a beating, the biggest downfall is the extra weight that these cranks & bottom bracket add to the bike. Back in the day when DH bikes weighted 50+ pounds it wasn't really an issue but nowadays there are a lot other burly options that are a lot lighter. You can get a titanium BB option but this set would still be pretty heavy. Installation is fairy easy, just have to be careful when attaching crankarm to the spindle to ensure it lines up. These are a very oldschool style crank but if you want something different and solid these are a great way to go. Just remember about the weight.
PROS: Attractive Design, Durable, Easy To Install, Bombproof
BEST USES: Downhill, Freeride, Racing, Mountain Biking, Hucking
