I was looking for a basic elbow pad for some of the more technical spots around here... just in case. I haven't fallen yet, but they're nice and compact, and don't restrict movement. I don't have big arms, and went with a medium, but I probably could have gone large. They're pretty light as well. They'll do the trick as long as you're not bombing downhills.

my friend wears these pads and i used them when i forgot mine. much better than my 661 pads that really restrict movement of my legs and arms. matched these up with the launch knee as well.

I haven't ridden with these yet but trying them on they feel better than about 5 others that i tried on. the articulated padding (divided into many different sections) is the best thing. although i wish there was another strap at bottom opening for adjustment. fits tight now but may stretch
