I use these for AM/DH riding. They are comfortable pedaling but not the best protection and the sizes are to vague.

A soft felxible knee and shin pad, a little loose in the lg/xl so they do move a little left and right. Velcro system a little wierd at first but nt bad. Wish they made larger velcro contact for better fit. Shin protection is much lighter than knee. A little warm but what can you expect. I also own the hard shell knee and shin from fox and prefer that one instead.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
