I bought this armor specifically because it has kidney pads. I cannot stress enough how invaluable these kidney pads have proved to be for me. Maybe it is just the way i fall and roll, but before i had this armor, i kept getting ripping up my lower sides, hip area. I finally bought this armor after i got a HUGE mountain rash on my kidney area and since then i've had no new scars (at least not over my kidneys). This armor breathes great, and has proved to be very durable over 2 years. I use it for Downhill and BIG freeride. Only signs of use are the scratches on the plastic plates, the dust, and the smell of fun. I've taken over 10 BIG crashes with this armor and have yet to rip off a plate (I'm looking at you 661) or tear the mesh. Great Armor.

I've had this armor for 2 seasons and use it for downhill and BIG freeride. I've taken over 10 BIG crashes in this armor and it is still holding up. No pads have ripped off, no plates have cracked. Only sign of usage is the dust, scratches on the plastic, and the smell of sweat. One thing i absolutely love about this armor are the kidney pads. I bought this armor specifically for the kidney pads after a washout that ended in a 10 square inch "mountain rash". Most armor does not have these kidney pads but i find them invaluable time and time again. Great armor, great protection and removeable spine is great.
Use this mainly for my DH rides..Here in the Philippines where the weather is always hot..Fox Titan keeps me cool all the time....best of all the protection.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
