Comments about Race Face Turbine 2X10 Crankset w/ Bash:

This is a great crankset for a 2x10 drivetrain. Jenson was fast to ship it and it was easy to install on my 29er hardtail. The bash works well and have saved my numerous chainrings. I would buy this again for my other bikes if I go 2x10.

Great Crankset

Comments about Race Face Turbine 2X10 Crankset w/ Bash:

This crank is the perfect 2x10 crank for my All-Mountain set up. My only complaint about this crank is that after about 3 or 4 really heavy rides (Noble Canyon etc) the bolt that holds it all together would come loose... After 6 months, my bottom bracket wore funny from the bolts always coming loose. Raceface and Jenson were great about the warranty and they replaced the BB and the crank arms. I was also told to put Loctite on the bolt, to prevent it from coming loose. So far, so good. This 2x10 with bash is the way to go. Super lite, and super strong!

Comments about Race Face Turbine 2X10 Crankset w/ Bash:

Looks nice, is sturdy and was easy to install. I had to tweak it a bit to get the chainline for my Specialized Enduro, but everything ok now. I am really liking it, although time will tell. I only have concerns based on reviews about the bottom bracket. Hopefully it will hold.

Good crank for 2x10

Pros

  • 2x10 with bash

Cons

  • FD set up is tricky

Best Uses

  • 2x10 with bash upgrade

Comments about Race Face Turbine 2X10 Crankset w/ Bash:

There's really no dedicated 2x10 crank with bash - this is no exception as it's a 3x10 with 2 chainrings made for 10sp with a bash in place of the third ring. It won't work with 2x FD, you need a 3x, which shouldn't be an issue if you're upgrading from your current 3x9, which is what I did. Dialing in the FD is tricky and I'm still trying to get it smooth. Overall good value though for the crank and bash.
