I installed these cranks for a 1x10 conversion on my hardtail. Absolutely love them. Definitely an improvement over the stock cranks that I had. I ride pretty aggressively, and they have been able to take everything that I have thrown at them with no maintenance thus far. I would argue that these are definitely the best bang for your buck if your looking to run a single ring setup.

The cranks themselves aren't 'designed specifically for single speed" or whatever they say. They are just regular Evolve 3-ring cranks with a non-ramped chainring. I was surprised to see the bolt holes for the small chainring, although if you look closely at the photo they are there, I just didn't notice them.

I have a set of Atlas cranks on my AM rig and love them. So when I saw this sweet deal for my XC 29er build I couldn't resist. Put 16km of hard wet riding on these yesterday with no issuse.
