Rav-X pads remain a good performer... But they have doubled in price in the last 6 months. I'm no longer using them and have switched to serfas. Semi-metallics. They are quiet, easy on the wallet and perform just as well as Rav-X

Have used Rav X pads in many different types of brakes over the years. They have never failed to provide anything less that perfect performance. Why pay more for manufacturers specific pads when a high quality aftermarket option exists. Look no further. Great stopping power!

These make the most awful noise. Like fingernails down a chalk board. Makes a turkey warble sound pleasant. They don't seem to stop quit as well as the OEM either. Not super horrible though and the seem to be improving after a half dozen long rides. If cheap is your number one objective then go for it.

Semi=metallic pads tend to squeel like a banshee, but these are as quiet as resin pads. Good modulation & adequate power. Have only used on 5 rides so not sure how they will hold up over time, but expect they will be much longer than resin.
