Can't say enough about this derailleur, Ive been using this one for a year and a half and have never had any issues with it. It's never mis-shifted on me. Even through mud and snow this derailleur shifts perfectly.
Another great thing is the low profile of the unit which helps to avoid rocks and keeps it safely tucked away.
Only possible con might be its weight. When you compare to other derailleus such as Sram XO this was is a bit heavier but for DH it does not really make a difference. Really happy with this unit.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This derailer is amazing it shifts perfectly every time and never skips. Nothing but reliability from saint and all comes at a good price!!!
Overall I am very happy with this derailleur, I used to go through several derailluers a system by either hitting rocks or the derailleus getting sucked into the spokes but since I have been running the Saint derailleur ive had no problems. I would strongly recommend!!
